2025 is now in the rear view, and we hope you are all entering 2026 refreshed and in good health. It should be a busy one.
2026 is a Convention year for UCTE. Our Twentieth Triennial Convention takes place this July in Edmonton. Locals are in the process of selecting delegates and creating resolutions to be discussed at the convention. We look forward to good discussions and setting the course for our union’s future.
Aside from that, we have numerous things already on the go: bargaining units including our Treasury Board units are in negotiations, NAV CANADA bargaining remains to be resolved, and grievance and arbitration work never rests.
