It was meant to be: Twenty teams registered for our twentieth annual Mike Wing Charity Golf Tournament. Congratulations to the winning foursome entered by Jeff Whitekker, and to the team of members from NAV CANADA who won Most Honest Golfers.
More importantly, thanks to all these smiling faces in the video and to our sponsors, the day enabled UCTE to donate $7000 to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. UCTE is very proud that over the twenty years of the tournament, it has raised nearly $100,000 to support their life-changing work.
While Mike Wing was National President of UCTE he chose Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind as UCTE’s charity of choice and inaugurated the annual charity golf tournament. At the event, his widow Pat reminded us to keep up the good work as Mike’s legacy of generosity.
