It’s World Food Day, and access to food is grossly unjust at home and abroad. This can be because of war and occupation, or due to systemic inequities in distribution systems. We can do better, by applying our collective power locally and internationally.
The Social Justice Fund supports a number of anti-poverty and anti-hunger projects. Several UCTE bargaining units have negotiated employer contributions to the Fund. Learn more and support the Fund! If your employer doesn’t already, advance a demand when bargaining comes around next.
