The Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) continues to work to protect the rights of all members who have been affected by the latest rounds of cuts in the federal public service. We have been meeting in Workforce Adjustment Committees with management at all levels of affected departments and agencies to ensure that every member receives all the information and benefits they are entitled to.
We have also been meeting with individual departments at the national and regional levels to iron out difficult situations and to protect the rights of every single UCTE member who has been affected. In addition, we have been working with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) to provide training and support to affected members.
