Treasury Board members: The next National Day of Solidarity is Wednesday, July 15. Actions are also scheduled for the third Wednesday of each coming month.
The call is for members to wear black in the workplace. If you have uniform requirements or other concerns, you’ll find other supportive actions you can take at this link, including virtual townhalls you can attend this month.
The goal is to show Treasury Board that members are united behind our demands and our bargaining teams. This action will help set the tone as the TC team begins mediation the following day and as negotiations continue for other groups: the EB group is still at impasse after mediation in June, the PA group will begin mediation in September, and talks continue for the SV group.
