The World Aids Day organization is running a momentous campaign. The goal: to take the final steps in ending new HIV cases.
From the 1980s — when AIDS first became well-known — to today, medical progress and social progress has been immense. It shows what can be achieved with focus, determination, patience, and love. Today, people are living normal, healthy lives with HIV. Treatment can prevent transmission. Most people living with HIV will not develop AIDS, and even for those who do, treatment has improved greatly in recent decades.
The struggle against HIV and AIDS has been inspiring and successful! Huge scary problems can be confronted and defeated when we unite. You can get involved at Join in – World AIDS Day and help get this campaign over the finish line.
