Our PSAC-UCTE bargaining team is pleased to share some of the details of the tentative agreement reached with NAV CANADA. The agreement was possible because of the dedication and perseverance of our bargaining team who were supported by members across the country who joined the fight for a fair contract.
Full details of the agreement will be shared before the ratification vote.
Key highlights include:
- 18% wage increases over five years, retroactive for current employees
- Compensatory leave improvements
- Language protecting members’ ability to work remotely
- Increases to shift and weekend premiums
- Improved job security
- Creation of an employer-union joint committee to oversee the layoff process, including measures to limit layoffs
- Improved eligibility for the end of career leave trial program, reduced from 28 years to 15 years of service
- Back pay for employees who retired between January 1, 2024, and January 8, 2026
The bargaining team unanimously recommends that members ratify the tentative agreement.
