On March 6, 2023, Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) members working for Pro-tec Fire Services of Canada at the Saskatoon Airport (YXE) voted unanimously to ratify their new collective agreement. The new collective agreement was enacted at ratification and will expire on November 30, 2026. Among other changes, the new deal provides four years of pay increases as follows:
- Effective December 1, 2022 – 4.0%
- Effective December 1, 2023 – 4.0%
- Effective December 1, 2024 – 3.0%
- Effective December 1, 2025 – 3.0%
