Enforcing regulations and maintaining transportation networks does more than assure safety. It has roles in conservation, wildlife habitat preservation, waste reduction, pollution reduction – all of these are outcomes of our members’ work. That includes public-service workers at Natural Resources Canada, Parks Canada, Transport Canada, or in other ways. And all of these contribute to fighting climate change.
