It’s the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR).
Members in the National Capital Region can attend the event on Parliament Hill that honours Residential School Survivors, remembers the children who did not make it home, and promotes reconciliation and healing for all of us. Members in the rest of the country can watch it live here. It’s always a powerful event.

NDTR is not just a holiday. It’s an opportunity to reflect, to show up in support, and to do the work. We all need to heal and acknowledge the ongoing effects of the residential school system.
