You are now on UCTE’s rebuilt website!
It has a freshened look and feel, upgraded accessibility features, and overhauled taxonomy and navigation. Once you are familiar with it, it should be easier than ever to find what you came for and to be confident that you are not missing anything important.
A few of the most important changes:
- Accessibility features: UserWay is our new accessibility plugin:
1. On the admin side, it audits pages and elements for accessibility and recommends improvements.
2. On the user side, it provides a menu of accessibility settings you can use to alter the display of the site to suit your needs.
Look for the red button on the right side of the page and try it out! 👉
Accessibility Statement – Union of Canadian Transportation Employees - Locals database: It should be much easier – using filtered search – for members who need to find names and contact information for their local, and for locals to keep his information up to date. Our Locals – Union of Canadian Transportation Employees
- News and updates: Latest UCTE News – Union of Canadian Transportation Employees Our posts are presented in a new way. This should make it easier for you to stay informed, and to browse related information that’s specifically relevant to your workplace or concerns.
- Information architecture: The taxonomy aficionados among us will appreciate that we’ve overhauled our categories and tags to keep content organized and available in an orderly and transparent fashion.
There are changes to top-level navigation and other elements too.
