The NAV CANADA bargaining team met with the employer February 25 to 27 and March 25 to 27. We reached an agreement on several issues, including the right to take nursing breaks without loss of pay. We also negotiated language clarifying the leave request process and granting of overtime.
Although more work remains, we also made progress on clarifying access to on-the-job instruction (OJI) pay and emphasized the importance of our proposals on job security. We also spent significant time discussing access to flexible work and securing our rights to these arrangements.
