Local 80829 members to vote on new collective agreement

Members at the Halifax International Airport, Local 80829, are set to vote on ratifying their collective agreement. Through mediation, a settlement was reached on April 10, 2024 for a 5-year contract that would expire on January 31, 2028.

The settlement agreement highlights include:

• economic increases retroactive to February 1, 2023;
• a Letter of Understanding to discuss the CAAT DB+ Pension Plan; and
• increases to the health spending account

In-person meeting information and ratification vote meetings will be held on Thursday April 25^th as follows:

• 7:30 a.m.      Guysborough Room, CSC
• 10:00 a.m.    Cowan Room, 2^nd Floor Terminal Building
• 3:00 p.m.      Cowan Room, 2^nd Floor Terminal Building
• 7:30 p.m.      Guysborough Room, CSC
