Mental Health Support for Public Servants at Risk: PA and TC Groups Begin Talks with Treasury Board

In the last round of negotiations, the Program and Administrative Services (PA) and Technical Services (TC) teams negotiated Memoranda of Understanding to conduct a joint study on mental health support. This study would focus on PSAC members who in the course of their duties are exposed to explicit and disturbing material, or potentially dangerous situations. Some of these members are part of UCTE. Teresa Eschuk, National Vice President, and Barry Tchir, Regional Vice President, Pacific, will be representing UCTE members at this table for their recommendations and offer input.
