Many in the community are concerned and rightly so. So, what can we do next?
Along with the Labrador West District Labour Council, we are hosting an online townhall to hear from politicians and others in the community about the potential impact of this decision. The event is to take place on June 16th starting at 6:30 p.m. NL Time. An invitation has been sent to Minister Garneau asking him to participate in the event. Hopefully he will be willing to explain why this decision was taken. If you are interested in the townhall, please register here
