The PSAC Treasury Board Bargaining Conference took place in Montreal from February 18-23, where delegates gathered to prepare for the next round of bargaining. Great discussions took place at all tables (PA, SV, TC, and EB) and each table elected their negotiating teams for the next round of bargaining.
“I would like to thank all UCTE members who submitted bargaining demands,” says National President Teresa Eschuk. “We were successful in getting UCTE members elected to the SV and TC bargaining teams. I am proud of the UCTE delegation for carrying forward our members’ input on bargaining priorities.”
Congratulations to Brother Mike Johnson (Local 90915 President) who was elected to the SV team, Brother Jimmy Mailhot (Secretary-Treasurer, Local 10117) who was elected to the TC team, and to Brother Dean Parsons (Vice-President, 60602) who was also elected as second alternate for the TC table.
PSAC served notice to bargain last week for the PA and TC groups with SV and EB to follow in the next couple of weeks. We encourage all UCTE members to sign-up on the PSAC website to receive bargaining updates.
